Ship's Log:
First day: great sail, beating up Goletas Channel. Viewed Humpback whale, anchored at Triangle Island.
Day 2: Rowed dories around Triangle Island, through sea caves, up to sealion colony, many tuffed puffins, rino gillimotts, and any other sea bird possible. Wonderful 5 hr sail to Lanz Island in the Scott Islands. During the sail we were in company with 20 Humpback whales lunge feeding, spectacular!
Day 3: 15 and 30 lb spring salmon caught off winter harbour. Spent afternoon on beautiful sandy beach, Grant Bay. Anchored in Winter Harbour area.
Day 4: 15 lb salmon, heading around Brooks Peninsula today. All well and overwhelmed with all we have seen and done.

In am left Hot Springs. Were tied up alongside Pacific Swift last night. Will be in broken group for overnight tonight. All doing very well.

Had Sunday service on deck last night, very beautiful. Exams today, talent night tonight. Everyone is perfect, nobody wants to go home!
