IMRF Meeting & Group Discussions

Today really was the official launch of the IMRF web site here at the World Maritime Rescue Congress in Sweden. I was afforded About 30 minutes to make a presentation About the site to the group and it went very well...

The day started with the general meeting of the IMRF and elections for their new Board of trustees - this didn´t really involve Kellei and I much - but we observed the proceedings as Kellei snapped off photos. My chance to walk everyone through the web site came after the coffee break.

Later in the day everyone broke off into small special interest discussion groups  to look at several specific topics and make reports Back to the trustees for tomorrow. This took the rest of the afternoon in two sessions. Personally we felt it a bit of the typical nonsense that happens when you get a committee together to discuss something this broad - and nothing really came from it - but it was interesting to see the attempt anyway.

Kellei also started a photography project yesterday that has really taken off - she´s trying to get photos of all the different shirt and cap logos from all the different countries - it´s gotten to the point now that people are approaching here to ensure that their logo isn´t missed - a fun side to the somewhat boring meetings part of the congress that is typical of Kellei - brightening up everyone´s day :)
