Flare Sighting

Called out last night (and into the early hours of the morning) to investigare a Flare sighting off Sechelt. Didnīt get home until almost 3am - but it was a good night out on the water...

The sighting had been reported by someone on shore - and the information was a bit ambigous. But all Flare sightings are fully investigated and we were tasked to conduct a search from Merry Island down to Selma Park in Trail Bay (off Sechelt)

We left About 2330h and didnīt get Back until About 0245 - and didnīt find anything. But it was a great night on the water. Lots of fish glowing in the bioluminescence and a great change for the two new crew with Kellei and I (on their first tasking) to try out the night vision goggles.

So I start today a bit groggy but always relieved that it wasnīt anything serious. Probably just someone saw a place/meitor/reflection etc...
