Zodiac Show&Tell

It was a wonderful way to end the day. Kellei and I went down to the Dock early so we could spend more time learning the new systems - the vessel uses the latest e-series nav systems from Raymarine. We also took a Virtual Tour of the Boat - which youīll see here as soon as I have time to stitch it (ok, donīt Hold your breath on that one)

Anyway by 7pm members of the unit started to arrive and everything was full-on "show-and-tell" for About an hour. We even got to try out the vessel completely full for thw first time (well actually we had one extra on Board)

Some background here: Our CCGA unit frequently participates in Medivac type work on the coast - so we oftin have 2 EMS personell on Board - but our old Boat only had 3 seats total - which was, in all honesty, a bit unsafe when it was rough. The new vessel was designed with 5 seats - specifically for this reason, and it was nice to see how it worked. Even with 6 people on Board she had no trouble reaching 40kns - the throttles wernīt even wide open.
