Are they done yet?

<rant>

I know that a lot of people love them but for those that donīt, myself included, I think itīs About time to turn off the Olympics and get on with real life...

Iīll be point blank here - I hate watching sports. I love being involved in sports, taking part, score keeping, referring but just watching them to me is far less exciting then watching paint dry (at least with paint you know that something was accomplished once itīs dry) - but to each his or her own... just please just donīt ram it down my throat. This stuff is everywhere - thank goodness I donīt have TV at home, I can only imagine what that must be like.

But my daily work is even infected: For the last few days, every time Iīve been to Google I have to be greeted with a new drawing depicting some Olympic something-or-other. This, when Canada Day didnīt even rate a one day showing. Itīs almost enough to make me want to switch to a different search engine.

Anyway, in my whiniest voice ever (a-la "are we there yet?")

Isnīt it done yet?
