February Breezes in...

Halibut Bank ODAS readings

Well, you could look at it either way - January went out with a gust or February blew in - either way it was blowing over 40 knots for several hours yesterday - knocked over my VHF antenna and another fence panel - yeesh!

That said, in my forest walk this morning Wyatt and I discuvered little more that had fallen. This has easily been one of the most wind-storm ridden winters I can remember and I don´t think there was much else left to Fall. Last night´s storm had probably the 2nd strongest sustained winds yet the power didn´t go out and little (apart from the fence and VHF) seems to have been affected.
