Bosunsmate.org Moved to a dedicated server

After 11 years of running as a sub-site under http://www.pawprint.net the Bosuns Mate web site has been given a dedicated server with the address http://www.bosunsmate.orgIt has been a long time in coming - and perhaps should have happened quite some time ago - but the Bosuns Mate now has itīs own dedicated server. This site has been a Mecca for lovers of tall ships and sailing for over a decade and finally has a server to call itīs own.
The move also comes with a software upgrade from PawPrint for all the back-end database that the site uses - which should find speed improvements in all areas of the web site.
We hope the new server will help "the mate" to continue delighting sailors (both armchair and blue water) from around the world for decades to come!
