I have always felt I had some kind past-life in Ireland or something and today is, obviously, the day to celebrate it. My very first experience of tasting beer, unlike many Canadians who probably tried something by Molson - I tried Guinness. It was at the Ireland Pavilion at Expo 86 in Vancouver - I was 13 and I think that the taste I was offered was for more of a joke then anything else - but I loved it and the hook was planted for life......

Today made up for the fact, in a small way, that we missed the departure of the Pacific Grace on their 2007 Offshore trip - the 60m Tall ship Götheborg returned here today after a trip to Shanghai and back reenacting a historic voyage where the first tall ship to bear itīs name was sunk at the entrance to this harbour mere miles from itīs home port....

Basically everyone agreed it must be the power supply - and thatīs exactly what it was - just a coincidence that I found the failure at the same time as I replaced the memory (which is working great all 4GB of it!) the plus is the old memory allowed me to max out three other systems......
