Wind Storms & Power Failures & Crashes - Oh My!

I´m still recovering from my 28 hour without power last weekend, and from my main GFX workstation system going belly-up shortly before that.

I ventured into town on Tuesday to get parts and now almost have the new system up and running. Ended up with the mobo as I mentioned an A8N SLI Premium - which is AWESOME - very nice Board for those that are looking. That with the Athlon 64X2 3800+ and a 6600GT Nvidia card for Video.

Because of power needs for this new system I also got a new case on of the Sonata II cases and it is also well worth the money.

In all I ended up dropping About $1K on this which was a bit more then I planned - but now that it is up and running it seems well worth it - I notice the speed difference anyway.

So sorry for being absent from the blog for the last few days - all my attention has been focused on getting the new system up and running. Now that it is I should be a bit more "on-line" as it were.
