Auto-generate Cache

When a page is updated any cached copies are automatically deleted. When this feature is set to no A new cached copy is not generated until someone actually visits the page. For cases where you would prefer a cached copy is generated immediately after any update that would normally clear the cache change this setting to yes.

When enabled the auto-generate function will re-build the cached non-user copy of the page after any update that would normally clear it.

Please Note this setting should be used sparingly and only for pages that have high traffic where it is essential that the cache is used to ease server load. Setting too many pages to auto-generate will affect server performance by causing numerous pages to require rendering every time an update is made.

This setting has no effect if the page is not enabled for caching.
