bbText Lists

There are two different types of lists available for web sites. Ordered (which uses numbers rather then bullets) and Unordered which uses bullets. In order for the system to know which type you want you need to tell it that you are going to be adding a list of one type or another. Ordered lists are identified in bbText by the ŽolŽ and unordered lists are identified by ŽulŽ Regardless of the type of list each item in the list is wrapped in a ŽliŽ construct.

This is best illustrated by example.

Unordered (bulleted) lists are created in the following form:

[ul]
[li]list item 1[/li]
[li]list item 2[/li]
[li]list item 3[/li]
[/ul]

Which renders a list that looks like this:
  • list item 1
  • list item 2
  • list item 3

Ordered (numbered) lists are created in the following form:

[ol]
[li]list item 1[/li]
[li]list item 2[/li]
[li]list item 3[/li]
[/ol]

Which renders a list that looks like this:
  1. list item 1
  2. list item 2
  3. list item 3
