We were always getting everywhere after the Swift - but then again Tony was skipper on the Swift  - so I suppose that was to be expected :)

I was amazed by this beautiful waterfall - this was the first of many times I was to see it.

As an interesting note - count the yards on the Swift... (helps to date this photo)

People used to argue with me that this photo was upside down it was THAT calm... (you can tell from the Robby´s bowsprit that it´s right side up)

This is what it looks like when the bosun throws a 200´ coil of rope to the people in the dory and they don´t catch it...

This tiny island in the middle of the Straight of Georgia gets so little rainfall that cacti actually grow there - the name means: the land that never comes - because as you approach it always looks like you should be there already

The sun hit the swift just right on our way south through Sutil Channel - it was cloudy everywhere else...
