More New TRACK-NAV features
Iīve added a few more goodies to TRACK-NAV:

For starters - the main track-nav page now looks a lot better (especially if you have your screen resolution set below 1024px wide)

The big new one is the chronological log display - try clicking the "View log entries" button for any route to see it in action - this is especially interesting on the historic routes from the Swift (which will get even better as I get more log info from SALTS)

Re: More New TRACK-NAV features
Iīve been busy in the TRACK-NAV code again - this time there are few visible changes but there are many to come, made possible by wide-reaching new functions in  the back-end.

For now, you can click on the vesselīs name to get extended information - try this for example: http://www.pawprint.net/sail/tracker/?action=object&toid=1

The maps are also a bit wider to giv better detail.

Coming soon:
- locations plotted on the map: I have build a new location database that will allow the display of selected cities and points of interest inthe map - I hope to complete this soon.

- Meridian lines: I will also try to add some Latitude and Longitude lines on the map

- Scale: Finally Iīll add a legend to include the current scale of the map.

Finally, for those that havenīt noticed, there is a new vessel in the system - The M.V. Stadiongracht out of Finland tracked with email positions being sent in by her first mate - this is especially exciting for me, both as it further tests the system, but also because I have no idea where they are bound ;) They have almost crossed the atlantic now...

have a look at the M.V. Stadiongrachtīs route:
http://www.pawprint.net/sail/tracker/?action=route&trid=9

I appreciate all the feedback I have received regarding the track-nav system as it has greatly assisted in development!

Re: More New TRACK-NAV features
Locations are now being plotted!

although there are not too many in my database to plot yet - Iīve been adding Points of interest along the SALTS offshore route first and hopefully this will give people a bit of a frame of reference - Iīm still working out some of the finer points but effectively this is not up and running - scale and grid-lines are next :D
